Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines prohibited uses of the services provided by Audio Delivery Network ("AudioDN", "we", "us", or "our"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use and applies to all Clients, their authorized users (including Creators), and any systems or applications using our Service.
By using the AudioDN Service, you agree to comply with this Policy and ensure that your users do the same.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service any content — including audio files, images (e.g., album artwork), or associated metadata — that:
- Infringes on the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others, including audio or images you do not have the legal right to use
- Contains unauthorized samples, remixes, derivative works, or artwork without appropriate licensing or permission
- Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, violent, threatening, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activity, including but not limited to piracy or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
- Misleads listeners or the public by including false, deceptive, or manipulated metadata
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all audio content, artwork, and metadata uploaded through your account is lawfully obtained, properly licensed, and accurately represented.
2. Prohibited Behavior
You may not use the Service to:
- Share or expose your access keys or API credentials in public code, web pages, or client-side applications
- Circumvent usage restrictions, quotas, or access limits imposed by AudioDN
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any AudioDN system or network
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance or integrity of the Service or its infrastructure
- Impersonate another entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or organization
- Build a service that substantially replicates or competes with AudioDN
3. Security and Access Management
You must:
- Keep access keys, credentials, and account details secure and confidential
- Ensure that any Creators or third-party users you authorize to use the Service comply with this Policy
- Monitor for unauthorized use of your account or credentials and notify AudioDN immediately if a breach is suspected
AudioDN is not responsible for misuse of access keys, including any excess usage or costs incurred from leaked credentials.
4. Listener and End-User Protections
You may not use the Service to:
- Collect or store personal data from end-users (Listeners) without appropriate notice, consent, and compliance with applicable privacy laws
- Use the Service to fingerprint, identify, or track users in a way that violates legal requirements or ethical standards
Any analytics or usage data collected through the Service must be used solely for operational, billing, or reporting purposes as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
5. Enforcement and Consequences
AudioDN reserves the right to investigate any violation of this Policy. Violations may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of access keys or accounts
- Reversal or deletion of violating content
- Legal liability for resulting damages or unauthorized usage
- Notification to law enforcement where required
AudioDN may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
